TERROIR: Les Hautes Terrasses: round pebble terraces with clay soil
WINE: The second wine in the ‘Les Pins’ range, this cuvée is produced using the same methods as big brother ‘Château les Pins’. With a shorter maturation period and gentler extraction methods, these wines are temptingly youthful.
GRAPE VARIETIES: Grenache Noir, Syrah, Carignan, Mourvèdre (vine over 15 years old).
MATURATION: 12 months in-cask, then matured in-bottle inside air-conditioned cellars.
TASTING NOTES: This deep red wine with a purplish tint has a nose that speaks of ripe red berries and cooked fruit with a spicy edge. The mouth-feel is nicely fresh, mineral and long.
